The Hamlet with Heart

This website is a project of the Youngsville Environmental Preservation Committee, an all volunteer grass roots group whose mission is beautification, bolstering community pride and the protection of the local ecology in the Hamlet of Youngsville.

Past projects have included the creation of award–winning public gardens at several locations in town, the creation of Little Wood, a pocket park featuring a native woodland path, its subsequent restoration after a devastating flood, the erection of the Youngsville Pavilion, and the maintenance of hanging baskets and flags on our main streets.

We are proud recipients of Sullivan Renaissance awards for our projects in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2008 and 2009.

We meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 7pm at Catskill Mountainkeeper in Youngsville Square.  Please  Join Us!   New members, new ideas and new faces are always welcome.  Working together keeps our hamlet a great place to live and work.
